close/ dismiss icon on tooltip

hi there,

i've been getting a lot of UX complaints regarding how to dismiss the tooltip. i am working on an application that uses your library in conjunction with a checkbox.

what users would like is once they check the checkbox, the tooltip is dismissed. currently, after the checkbox in the tooltip is checked, users have to click elsewhere on the screen in order to dismiss the tooltip.

is it possible to enable a close icon on the top right of the tooltip, like an X icon, so that it is clear to non-technical users that there is a way to dismiss the tooltip aside from clicking on a random point on the screen?

please advise.
