[Feature Request]: Polychoric correlation matrix

Description

Need an option for Polychoric correlation matrix

Purpose

To estimate correlations between variables better. Since EFA is made with that option, it should also be an option in the tab "correlation"

Use-case

to better estimate correlations between variables. It is recommended to use the same methods in analyses. Since I am using the pholychoric in EFA, this should also be an option when correlating the variables (not only Pearsons and Spearman's as its now the only options available)

thx for the request.
This does not seem to be about the reliabilty module, so I changed the tag to regression module. Correct?
At least under "regression" is where the "correlation" analysis lives.
Other than that this seems to be a valid feature request.

This does look like it's about a new correlation coefficient. Both the polychoric and related tetrachoric correlation coefficients are available in the correlation package alongside the variety of other coefficients we discussed in #1364
