Bug Description

Importing xlsx give error Unable to open file because: Could not select active worksheet, error code: -28 , converting same file to xls 93 (old excel format) it works

thx for the report. I can confirm this on 0.19.3 flatpak. Possibly related to the pivot-filter function activated in that file?

I just tested my assumption. Removing the filter from row 1 of the xlsx file makes it importable to jasp. We also have another report with the same issue, see:
#3129

Thus I am closing this one as duplicate. Lets discuss over there.
