Bug Description

in https://forum.cogsci.nl/discussion/7461/anova-post-hoc-tests a user asks whether Tukey-Kramer is automatically applied for ANOVA with unbalanced samples. The team suggest adding a note to clarify this. I don't think this note is yet available, at least because another user has asked about this. See: https://forum.cogsci.nl/discussion/9727/question-about-post-hoc-in-anova#latest

Expected Behaviour

We know that emmeans automatically applies the necessary adjustment for unequal sample sizes when conducting a post hoc test. However users may be unclear about this, or indeed unfamiliar with this particular test. So this should be clarified. Perhaps with a relevant citation to the '56 or '57 papers
