Bug Description

The JASP app is randomly exiting while I'm editing a file, whenever I want to save it, it results in closing the app.

Expected Behaviour

It should not randomly closing because I am editing a important file. It should stay open.

Did you mean you are insert some rows or columns in data editor mode? could you record a screenshot for it?

can you try in a terminal / command line window:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

another user at #3204 reported this as a fix
