Hi JASP team,

We are unable to install JASP 0.19.3 using JASP-0.19.3.0-Windows.msi via https://jasp-stats.org/download/ in our virtual machine that is using Microsoft Windows Server 2019.
Apparently it does installed successfully in our laptop but not to our virtual machine. Previously it did worked and successfully install to our virtual machine that is using Microsoft Windows Server 2019 but apparently not this time.

Here is the error message that we received from our end :

Hi @aziraazwa If you now look at path C:\Program Files\JASP is there a JASP.exe file live?

Also you can run in cmd by this to get more verbose logs:

msiexec.exe /i "Path\To\Your\JASP-0.19.3.0-Windows.msi" /L*V "C:\installer.log"

and upload that intaller.log.

@tomtomme The Microsoft Store is not installed or not supported by default on Windows Server version I think.

Hi, thank you.

i tried using the command but it still have the same error messsage.

i can confirmed that i did not have the JASP.exe file live or even JASP folder in C:\Program Files\JASP and seems i cant upload the installer.log here perhaps due to the size restriction.

there are no JASP file on C:\Program Files（x86）apparently as it failed to install from the beginning.

was the installation tried on a NTFS filesystem? Otherwise junction-creation may not work.
