Bug Description

I am using two different computers on a university campus. One is running 0.19.1 and the other 0.19.3. The problem is the same on both computers: the results panel does not appear to the right of the analyses. This occurs regardless of which analysis I select and whether I create a dataset or open an existing file.

Expected Behaviour

The requested tables and plots should appear to the right of my analyis box.

Steps to Reproduce

Open Jasp. Enter data into a new file. Click Descriptives. Load the variable into the Variables field.

Hmm, a solution weve seen in the past is to set jasp to use "Safe graphics" in the interface preferences.

I attempted that on the computer with the most updated version. It did not fix the issue.

Perhaps it is helpful if we could have a look at the logs, could you enable logging and upload those files here?

Graphics card is Intel UHD Graphics 630 and drivers are up to date. Same graphics card I've had on this device for a few years. Jasp has always worked successfully on these devices...until now.

Perhaps you could test a development version?

Weve updated Qt, which is where the resultsview comes from (it is basically a repackaged chromium browser), so with a bit of luck that contains fixes relevant to your system.

Thanks for uploading the logs, however, they start only after youve changed the option. So the startuplogs are missing, and they are the only ones that might be informative. Perhaps you could start JASP from scratch and send those logs?

Downloading and navigating the development version produces the same result. The logs I attached in the post a few minutes ago are from that attempt and from that version. I'm now attempting to download Jasp from the MS Store.

Additional context: my personal laptop, which is not connected to the university system, is able to display Jasp (0.18.3) and the results panel accurately. Other students who have recently downloaded the program can also see the results panel. This suggests the problem is not with Jasp, but with Windows and/or university-governed software. I will reach out to our IT department about this.
