Bug Description

I need to work with my data. After uploading them in JASP everything is fine. From the point when I want to open Descriptive statistics (or any other menu point like ANOVA) the system is not responding anymore and it opens the window "security sandbox failure" over and over again. Tried everything but nothing worked. Also I couldnt download the windows installer and had to do it over the zip. file. (I also tried to open other (smaller) data sets but this didnt worked as well)

Expected Behaviour

I just want to work and analyse my data by useing descriptive statistics

Steps to Reproduce

upload the data to JASP (as csv)
klick on descriptive statisitics
programm is not responding anymore

thx for the report.
Can you share some details on where and how you have unzipped the zip file version of jasp? A unzip program like 7zip is recommended for this since the windows-integrated unzip app fails sometimes.
Also, can you give details on why you could not use the other install methods?

You can disable the sandbox in settings:

Preferences -> advanced -> engine options -> engine sandboxing.

This should be done automatically but when you pressed continue this did not happen?
