I would like to be able to make a grouped barplot based on a twoway table of counts

When teaching, categorical data is usually presented as counts. Being able to make a grouped barplot would be useful

I can make the graph if I have "raw data", i.e. each observation is a line in my dataset. But if I only have the counts for each combination of my categorical variables all I can make (it seems) is a "heatmap" which is just the contingency table with (confusing?) colours. I would like in Descriptives -> Frequency plot to be able to put my counts into a count-field similar to the one I find when I make a chisquare test (Frequencies -> Contingency Tables).

Not really if I understood correctly. The y-axis should show count data. Not variable data of which a mean is calculated.

Data -file (txt): crunch.txt Two categorical variables (limited, result) with a number (count) of observations for each combination

The graph I hope for is what I can get using the console: barplot(xtabs(count ~ limited+result, data), beside=TRUE)
(or even better, "conditional" proportions instead of counts). Alternatively a mosaicplot: mosaicplot(xtabs(count ~ limited+result, data)) (but with proper variable names)

It may be easier to implement it as part of Frequencies -> Contingency tables, where "count" can go into "Counts"
