Bug Description

The system is lagging as hell and keeps crashing, no matter what I do. I type in data into cells, the software lags, then crashes. I open up a file it crashes. I don't know what to do

Expected Behaviour

Not be laggy, that would be a good place to start.

step 1. open jasp
step 2: jasp crashes

Can you give more detailed info on your system?
You can get the system info via:

If the problem persist you could try:

• one of the other install methods.
  
• update your Operating system fully and restart the machine (especially important are up to date graphics drivers if you run intel graphics)
• run JASP with safe graphics mode:
  
• check if other apps do run at the same time and close them
• check if other apps like virus scanners interfere
