Bug Description

Hi,
We have a problem with our Jasp Data Analysis with many multiple linear regressions for a dissertation.
In one multiple linear regression the following message appears, although all the other calculations are fine.
SEE SCREENSHOT.
This is very urgent as this data set belongs to a dissertation that is due in two days!!!
Please can you help me how to repair my dataset without calculating everything new?

Expected Behaviour

The calculation of with the dataset should have shown: r2 model analysis, anova and regression

Steps to Reproduce

It happens every time I open my data set although I have reinstalled the programme... and it also happens on every computer I open it

Error Message says that the variables have different length. Maybe to many Missing values or empty cells at the end?
Would be cool If you could post the data set as the error is probably data specific

Also you could Check Out a more recent jasp Beta Version and See If the error is fixed there

Hi and thank you for quick response.
Thank God my brilliant sister who is becoming a junior software developer looked over the error message and your answer and could help us figure out the problem. We had the wrong variable and Jasp luckily told us that it couldn't work out the calculations.
P.S. My sis says that you wrote a great software with jasp!

I'm glad this got solved in the meantime! Still, I'd be interested in what caused this error, since it's not very informative and could be handled better. Could you maybe share the data file with? You can email it to j.b.vandoorn@uva.nl - that way I can take a closer look and make sure JASP handles it better in the future!

It was probably a nominal or ordinal variable according to the *. Maybe it contained strings?

Hi I sent Johnny an email from my students-mail with more details.
The variable were metric to do the regression...
This is the explanation I sent:
We had a regression analysis with a dependent variable that had 6 different dimensions; therefore the same calculation happened 6 times with each dimension, including moderation.
Before I could do the analysis I needed to convert the variables with z-tranformation.
However, in one calculation I did not put the transformed dimension into the calculation but the original one, which resulted in the problem I sent to you as the values were different...
