Hi folks
I have JASP 19.3 portable installed on my external drive which used to be picked up as my E: drive. I have a new PC which now detects it as my H: drive. I do not have access to disk management for me to change it. When I try to run JASP I get an engine crash error probably due to this conflict. Is there a config file that I can change or will I have to uninstall it and reinstall it. This is also problematic when I move between PCs when teaching.

You can try the zip version. But maybe @RensDofferhoff has a better idea.

BTW - this was the pre-installed zip version that I was using.

This is caused by the way Windows implements junctions. Very Annoying.

One thing that we could try (experimental) is alter this file:

And change the value from ZIP to MSIX.
It will make the junctions in the settings folder of the machine running the exe instead of the drive where the exe is stored.
