Bug Description

I have toy dataset where I have nominal variable with 280 observations. The variable is binary. So I set it to be 1 or 0. I was using it to teach the binomial test. An initial run of the binomial test worked. But, then if I go change an attribute (e.g., Alt. Hypothesis), JASP seeminly loses one of the values so in the test it only lists 1's or 0s. The data is still the same and appears preserved. But, I lose one of the values. In this case the 0. I hav uploaded a JASP file that I saved for the class 2 years ago where it worked fine...but now I get the issue. See saved second file.
I see it on Mac Intel and Windows 11.

Values should not be dropped.

thx for the report.
I can confirm the error on 0.95.2 flatpak linux.
I have also a workaround for the moment: Export the data to CSV. Import it to JASP. Now everything seems fine.

Something in the update process from the older jasp version the file was made with, to the current one, is broken. When I open your jasp file in 0.95.2, I cannot even see a label editor in data edit mode. It only appears, when I change a value in the data matrix.

I don't what happened in your JASP file, but the variable 'successes' does not have any label...
If I export the data in a csv file, and load this csv file, I get 2 labels (0 and 1), and then the Binomial test works.
Can you try to reload the data file?

that sounds like a problem alright.
Ill check which version it was last saved as, and see if I can fix the upgrade process somehow.
