Bug Description

When requesting descriptive stats on a ordinal variable, I get the following error message:
(Note that it worked with past versions of JASP such 0.19, 0.18, etc)

This analysis terminated unexpectedly.
Error in levels<-(*tmp*, value = as.character(levels)): factor level [2] is duplicated

Hi @plambertULiege What I see from in the JASP file you gave is that the edlvebe variable has the same label for different values. How did you load such data?

Interesting. Maybe he added those labels after loading the data in JASP. Is it not allowed to have the same label for different data? Could JASP output a warning, when this is the case?

I just tried. I could put in the same label for different values twice within JASPs data editing mode. There is no warning or error message when I do.
The module "descriptives" shows the error when the variable is ordinal. Scale is no problem. Other analyses such as "contingency tables" do not throw an error when double-labeling.
