Doesn't install under newer versions of node

Tried pulling this down and npm install under node 10.9 and it fails with errors related to fsevents.

There is far more wrong with this package than just fsevents. You can install the packages with yarn but at that point it simply won't even compile. There are a ton of issues around outdated versions of nigh all packages.

TL;DR: This is a bad example repo. @jaysoo should either update it or archive it.
