Busibox is a self-hosted AI platform that lets you upload documents, search them with natural language, and chat with AI agents that know your content. Your data stays on your organization's infrastructure.
You access Busibox through the AI Portal. Your administrator will give you the URL. When you open it, you can sign in using:
- Passkey — Use your device's built-in biometrics or security key
- TOTP — A one-time code from an authenticator app
- Magic link — A sign-in link sent to your email
Choose whichever method your organization has set up. No passwords required.
After logging in, you'll see the main dashboard. This is your home base. From here you can:
- Browse your documents — See what you've uploaded and what's shared with you
- Launch apps — Open Agent Manager, Chat, Documents, and other tools
- Access admin settings — If you're an admin, manage users, ingestion, and deployments
The layout is simple: a sidebar for navigation, app cards on the home page, and quick access to documents and agents.
Here's a fast way to see Busibox in action:
- Upload a document — Go to Documents, click upload, and add a PDF, Word file, or other supported format. The system will process it automatically.
- Search it — Once processing completes, use the search bar to ask questions in plain language. "What are the main findings?" or "Summarize the key points."
- Chat with an agent — Open Agent Manager or the chat interface, enable document search, and ask the same questions. The agent will answer using your document and cite the source.
That's the core loop: upload, search, chat. Everything else builds on this.
