I think raw.github is protected in some cases

Example:

Idea: Use jgit do connect to the repository. jbang could clone with --depth 1 and then check the files there.

What does a curl -v on same url report ?

I am not behind a company firewall. Just my home router blocking some incoming requests.

Issue does not happen now; seems that my console is unblocked from Google. I can report the output of curl as soon as the issue re-occurs.

Yeah so without other evidence I'll assume you simply just hit a temporary outage which does happen on GitHub when hitting raw endpoints.

Maybe should add extra logging in --verbose on the exception as it light reveal more on why it happened.
