tenacity-rs: tenacity with a Rust core (feedback needed)

Hi all! @jd - thank you for your work on tenacity. I reeeally appreciate what you’ve built. I’ve recently rewritten tenacity in Rust and it’s now significantly faster.

I was wondering if you might be open to taking a look and sharing some feedback. I’d also be happy to explore possible contributions or even experiment together with bringing Rust into tenacity.

Hi @wkargul!

I can imagine anyone could throw an LLM at this task and call it a day, indeed. However, tenacity speed has never been an issue for anyone so far, so while it might be a fun project, I'm not sure it adds any value or solves any issues any user has encountered so far.

So that's my feedback: from where I stand, you solved a problem that did not seem to exist.
