Still experiencing argument too long error

I saw #329 was expected to fix this issue, but I'm still experiencing it with the latest mise and usage

Please let me know if there's any other information that would be helpful in debugging and/or fixing this! 🙏

Just found out this issue as I was getting same error, I did the following and now its working:

1. Upgrade usage (I install it with mise too)
2. Use mise completion bash --include-bash-completion-lib when generating the autocompletion file for your shell.

Then autocomplete for mise works for me.

Thanks @mxcoder, however I don't use bash I use fish. That being said, I ran mise completion fish > ~/.config/fish/completions/mise.fish and I still see the error message but I also get completion results:

It's probably caused by outdated cache. Deleting $ZSH_CACHE_DIR/completions/_mise and regenerating shell completion fixed the issue for me.

As the mise plugin in oh-my-zsh would also hook mise (and pollute $PATH with hundreds of binaries installed via mise), I simply add shims to $PATH. And somehow omz/usage-cli still uses the cached zsh completion, which caused the issue. After deleting the cache and regenerate it via mise completion zsh, it's working again.

Commands (you might want to adapt it to your shell and setup):

I use fish. Re-creating the mise completion file -- mise completion fish > ~/.config/fish/completions/mise.fish in my case -- and restarting the shell indeed fixed the issue for me.
