Are some channels omitted by design?

I am pulling the guide from a satellite provider, but when I compare the output xml file to the tvtv.us listing of the same lineupID, there are many channels missing in the xml. Am I missing a command line option?

OK, I see what is happening. The tvtv.us listings contains some channels that are not in the https://tvlistings.gracenote.com/ listings that is used by zap2xml.

Thats why I pull multiple providers and use TV_merge to put them as one file. I just worked for days with AI help redoing TV_merge in node.js to be sooooo much faster and I run in a batch file zap2xml to pull multiple lineups then tv_merge to combine them.

I have a cobbled together zap2xml script I created a while back that signs into multiple accounts and gets the channels from my favorites. Then it combines them into a single xml. I would like to start using your 2 scripts because I don't think you login? However I don't want to download all the channels, just the ones I need. I see you have Lineup ID but no Channel IDs... Do you think that is possible without logging in?

Are you using docker? I have an updated version on there that does the 2 login functionality jesmann/gracenote2xml

No I'm using a bash script with the old perl script. I haven't switched over to your Docker yet. I think I have 4 or 5 different accounts. Some have a couple channels, others have quite a few.

I haven't updated it on github but I have had to fix some things to make it keep using gracenote on my server. Just changed the {aid} today.

My docker is the old style using two log in and password then auto merge. If you want to use lineups I'd use this new version and I made a new tv_merge I have a fork here that updated the aid and a few extra features
