Command CLI for quick

On the roadmap for development i have saw the Create a CLI (Command Line Interface) Quick.

i would like to have more info about it if possible and i have some questions too.

1. what is the purpose of the CLI for quick ?
2. from the CLI, the users will can add routes, initialize project, reset project or which functionnalities ?
3. which cli library do you want for quick framework ?

What is the purpose of the CLI for quick?
The CLI will be to facilitate the creation of the project structure, such as a project for rEST. It will create a standard structure for REST, where to store the controls, all routes, main middlewares, that is, it will generate the code and leave everything ready for the user.
There will be an option, for example, to create a project for Serverless, an Aws Lambda for example, and then it will generate another structure and generate an example code, that is, it will suggest a model for organizing directory structures and practical code examples.
And so on for all structures, for example: Using MongoDB, using postgreSQL, RabbitMQ, SQS Aws for Workers, etc., etc.
Various models of system types and different directory organizations for different types of projects.

From the CLI, users will be able to add routes, initialize the project, redefine the project or what functionalities?
It's also a possibility, but at first I was only thinking about generating directory structures and organizing the projects by generating example codes and models.
But we can expand to several functionalities as you're suggesting.

Which CLI library do you want for a quick framework?
Every one I've seen generates an external dependency, I was thinking of something with a really cool look like this:
https://github.com/charmbracelet/bubbletea

So the quick CLI should be outside the quick repo so as not to generate dependencies, or make a fork of bubbletea for example.

I haven't thought about it yet, I need to think about it.
The other option is to create our own native quick CLI, and implement the basics without external dependencies, this way we don't need another repo.

Can you explain the idea a little?

@jeffotoni the idea i've thinked was to have a native cli without any external dependencies. for example to cobra or bubbletea can be an alternative too because it pretty cool for ui design 😅.

1. for the structure, we can have a default structure for quick app. for example a simple structure like this:

├── routes/
├── middlewares/
├── config/
├── README.md
├── main.go

• routes : used to define all system routes
• middleware : for custom users middleware
• README.md : will contain a simple description or user can modify it
• config: contains all configutations, e.g: database configs, cache config, event streaming config...
• main.go: contain the app declaration to statup.

2. Also we can have a flag to ask user which database model he want to implement and automatically the config will be inside the config folder. other things the app should be able to read all .env data wihout to add external dependencies like this, i think i will create a PR for that.

several methods can be implemented too: deployment, upgrade....

Cobra is simple to create command and subcommand

Have some models, I'll post them here for you later. We use them in production in several projects. There is a very clear idea for creating files for each structure, I'll send them to you later too. Create the files when it's Postgres, Mongo, etc. I'll prepare everything and pass it on to you.
