Summary

Jira is configured to send notification emails to jenkinsci-cert@googlegroups.com for most activity in the SECURITY project to keep the security team updated. This is realized by sending a notification to "Single User" in the SECURITY project configuration (username withheld intentionally). That user exists and still has the email address configured.

The last email received is from Feb 20, 2026, 3:53:04 PM Google Groups time for an update at 2026-02-20 15:42 Jira time.

Notifications stopped before Feb 22, 15:11 Jira time (SECURITY-3688 creation).

All times believed to be CET.

I have no idea whether this extends beyond this specific notification setup / the mailing list; might affect all emails from Jira.

Sorry my bad, I disabled it for a Jira to GitHub migration and then forgot to re-enable it.

Enabled now.

Is this a regular thing? I.e., are there occasional windows during which we do not get notifications of what's going on in the issue tracker? We rely heavily on those emails.

Not regular anymore, I’ve only been doing it for larger issue migrations >50 or so which have not been common recently
