OS: Ubuntu 24.04
Reproduction steps
Set up a Cloud configuration, it launches nodes.
Expected Results
Everything works.
Actual Results
Infrequently, agents never terminate.

Launching Ubuntu agents on AWS. Usually it works fine. However today, and also a few weeks ago, I noticed a problem.
An agent was running for 8 days continuously. It appeared in the AWS console and in Jenkins. 8 days. Why was it still online? The idle configuration for this cloud pool is 10 minutes. Most of the time a job isn't running.
In the logs for this agent there was something surprising. In the logs, around 5 days ago, there are messages such as "agent launching, agent is online". etc. As if came online 5 days ago (not 8 days ago). Based only from the log messages.
I have terminated the agent. Usually things are working ok.
