What Operating System are you using (both controller, and any agents involved in the problem)?
Linux controller with Windows agents connected through SSH. Using the Windows OpenSSH server with Windows 10 and Windows 11 agents
Reproduction steps
- Start a Jenkins controller on Linux
- Add an SSH private key to connect a Windows agent with SSH
- Define a Windows agent that Jenkins starts with SSH
- Define an SSH private key that can clone a GitHub repository
- Define a Jenkins job that uses the SSH private key to clone the repository
- Run the Jenkins job and see that the git command fails with 6.5.0 incremental build
Expected Results
Git fetch command should not hang
Actual Results
Git fetch command hangs
Anything else?
Problem does not happen with Git Client plugin 6.4.2, only on the master branch.
I suspect that the issue is caused by the change to use the system SSH.exe instead of using the one provided by MinGit_
