Yes, all this stuff can be stored directly on the PXE server in dedicated config files (see here for examples: https://github.com/jens-maus/thinRoot/tree/master/tftpboot/thinroot/conf) so that keyboard layout, screen lock, etc. can be stored in config file based on the actual hostname or mac address or even ip address of the thinclient and then this information is fetched upon bootup of the thinclient and used during X11 startup, etc. |

Does thinRoot provide a way to store, per terminal, user settings and load them automatically during next boot to reactivate on the specific terminal?
Background: On a net booted terminal there is (often) no local storage.
The terminal might be connected to multiple screens with a specific keyboard layout - so settings like a) screen setup (location, orientation), b) keyboard layout & config, c) screen lock / power, d) last username , ... could be saved centrally somewhere.
