Doesn't the new v (multiple file select) option work for stashing?

I can select multiple files from the changed list using the new v binding.... but when I try to stash the selected files, the behavior is the same as previous.... All the untracked and staged changes get STASHed.... Isn't it a bit misleading? Should we create a new option to cater this scenario where I give the option to stash only the selected files?
