Adding extra page at the beginning of my ebook

I use a Python script to convert a docx file to epub. I see that pandoc adds an extra page at the begining of the epub showing the title, the author and the publisher. All these are metadata, I don’t want this stubborn converter to add them again. What can I do?
May I add some additional parameter here?

Did you try with --epub-title-page=false? (Need pandoc >= 3.0)

I have pandoc 3.6 on my PC, but including this command in the script produces an error.

Hm. What is the full command line you are using, and what is the error message?

Sorry, but this pandoc is a complete sht.
I am not annoyed if it adds an extra title page, because I can simply replace that with a new one created by Calibre etc. (But, why I do use Pandoc in the first place if I also use another converter to correct its error?).
My other problem is that metadata Translator and Editor aren’t passed, they are lost. On the other hand metadata Author, Title, Language and Publisher are preserved.
BY THE WAY, this is my approx. hundredth trial to fix this. I am giving it up.

@Mazarin07 Please be respectful to the maintainers, they don't owe you anything. Furthermore, nobody is forcing you to use pandoc! You clearly haven't put much effort into getting to the bottom of the error you're seeing - do you expect people to debug your Python script? If you come up with a minimal reproducible example (a pandoc command that produces incorrect output) perhaps someone can help.

I see another post about this issue dated 2013. So this is an ancient issue, but it seems that nobody was bothered by it.
I have solved the problem after all, but it required me days of work.
