Limit search to active shapes.

I looked for this issue before posting, apologies if it already exist or it already doable.

I would like to limit search (omni box) to only the active shape I have. Currently, it will show all of a particular type. For example is you search ec2 it will return all shape of ec2 not just limited to the active shapes.

I want to be able to have a constant style in my diagram so I limit my shapes. BUT using the search return all ec2 snapshot not just the shapes I have active. I even removed all active shapes, and the search box still returned the same results.

Select desired shapes and manually look for each item I want.

Shapes that are currently selected in side bar.

I am referring to the general search capability on top left

Could you clarify what you mean by 'I even removed all active shapes, and the search box still returned the same results' - did you delete shapes from your diagram or remove them from a custom library?

I remove the shapes from the left bar by unchecking them.
