Ability to instantly highlight and change properties of all correspondig boxes based on the find/replace tool and possibly being able to do this based on custom made heatmaps/selection zones
#3206
Why I am suggesting:
This tool has revolutionised the way I write my cover letters and how I pitch myself to prospective employers. As of now I have an entire web of 'dialogues' for a wide range of experiences and skills that may be asked of me for me to explain in more detail by using the dialogues. This being said, the more dialogues I add, the longer and more tedious it is to change the properties of each box individually.
An example of what I do now:
A desired skill from a job post is ''being adept in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.'' From that, I would go on my diagram, use the find/replace tool to find and change the line colour and thickness of any dialogues mentioning the words 'photoshop', 'illustrator' etc. to make sure I am using the most tailored and relavent information to write my cover letter.
The Actual Idea:
That's why I was thinking how great it would be if there was a tool that works very similar to the 'replace' button under the 'find/replace' tool where instead of replacing text, you can edit the appearence/properties of all boxes which are ascribed with a certain tag or imbedded text all at once. An additional cool feature would be if you could click and drag a heatmap box on your diagram that would allow only the properties/appearence of the boxes contained within the heatmap to be changed.
