Are the "graph" styles configuration options now deprecated?

I have a question concerning the graph style configuration options (background and gridColor):

"styles:" [
  {
    "graph": {
      "background": "#114B5F",
      "gridColor": "#0B3240"
    }
  }
]

Changing them have no effect in recent draw.io versions. Are they now officially deprecated or is it a bug?
