Orthogonal Lines Acting Weird + Label Issues

I'm having this issue with some lines in my diagram. For some reason, even when I set the line to be orthogonal, it still makes these weird curves whenever I try to move the connection point to my table.

Also, I wanted to ask if there’s a way to view all the labels/texts that are linked to a line so I can selected it. I’m asking because pretty often when I move a line or a table it's connected to, the so-called "smart movement" ends up pushing the label underneath something else, and then I can’t select it to move it back into place. Another option would be disabling smart movement altogether, but I couldn’t find any setting for that.
