How to deal with much same object's color or bounding box's color at eh same time？

I want to draw sth like this. So I first use copy and paste to get a lot of square at the same time of the same color(grey). However, when I was going to color the grey block white, I cannot choose a lot of them and paint them at the same time. How can I do that?
