Crashing after about 10 minutes

I am on a Q338 with one revision back firmware. 1742 I believe, I have the pulse update. I am running a Mac M3 Pro.
It works perfectly for about 10 minutes and then crashes and then if I reopen it sometimes it will talk to reaper sometimes not. However it still crashes. Once reopened it seems to crash faster, I haven't really timed those exactly.

I am running the latest build you have published.

Hi- Thanks for reaching out. Is it generating a crash log? If so can you send me the information from that crash log. Just double checking- you are running the ARM64 version of the application, correct?

Seems to only do it when connected to console. I ran it for a while last night, of course no crashes. I will report back this weekend. Thanks for getting back to me.

I installed it on windows I am having similar problems, however it does not give me the option to generate a crash report.

Just FYI- this crash log is super interesting to me- for some reason your software is spooling tons and tons of threads which I imagine is leading to the crash. I've got this running on multiple shows on both mac and windows and they are never sitting at more than about 6-7 threads at a time- but they are all on Quantum 7s. So I've got to imagine it's something related to the Q338. I've got some ideas- but I've got to get in front of a 338- so I'll try to do that ASAP and get back to you. Sorry- I'm just get getting a show up and running here but I'll get back to this ASAP.

Thanks for looking into it I just got back from a fly date on an SD12-96 running 1972 or w/e the latest firmware is. Had the same problem as I have on the Q338. I think it might have to do with my Klang card? Any thoughts to that? Interestingly enough your old version of the software works perfectly on both the Q338 and SD12-96 with Klang. I am loading in a show right now and will check this new release and let you know!

Ok, Update from the current release. I recorded for 20 minutes - It never crashed. However as time goes on it gets really slow to respond to the markers. It hasn't missed one but it's a solid 3 seconds from the time I hit next to the time it sets a marker in reaper. It was as instant as always during the first 5 or so minutes.

Oh man- I totally understand what's happening now and I have to thank you because in theater world we never use Klang and I never would have found this issue myself. I assume Klang control is running on the same machine as Reaper? Are they set up to send/receive on different ports? (That's mostly just as a point of interest for me). In any case- I have two possible solutions to this- one's easy and one's harder, so I'm going to implement the easier one later today and I'll upload a release for you to test. In any case, next time you have a fly gig that takes you to NYC, I owe you a beer.

So yes and no. Ports are different. Currently I am running Reaper on one machine and Klang on the other. However, even when I do a blended machine I have the same results. My assumption is that Klang is also OSC and the network is just flooded when a scene changes. I am currently doing a 4 night stay and I can get you any information you need from my end. Sadly I was just in NYC, but yes the next time I am around we can get together. I VERY much appreciate all you've done with this. P.S. It only lagged during a 3 hour show last night, didn't crash. Don't know if that's helpful.

OK last night I was only able to get through about half of the show with it. Crashes a lot. Also crashes as soon as you open it the first time. Also noticed it was VERY laggy. I didn't have time to catch the crash report, if it does it today where I can export it I will send it to you.
