CDI takes up 700mb+ while Mario64 only 15mb?

If I compress the CDI Mario Kart 64 file its very small like 10mb leading me to believe its a bunch of empty space.
While this doesn't matter for a CD, on an ODE it just waists SD card space.

If you add the -N flag to the mkdcdisc command in the Makefile (see here), that will prevent the dummy file from being generated inside the CDI.
