Ukrainian language for NOVA FCSH template

Hello,

[novathesis- 7.3.3. version for NOVA FCSH, Overleaf, LuaLaTeX]

I am using Ukrainian as one of the extra languages, but I am unable to add it to my template.

I have tried to add it to the novathesis.cls file

% LANGUAGES
lang/extra/.new list = {uk},

and then added the Cyrillic encoding to the 5-packages.tex document:

\usepackage[T1, T2A]{fontenc}

After that, I have used the \begin{otherlanguages} and nothing:

\begin{otherlanguage}
(Про забезпечення функціонування української мови як державної)
\end{otherlanguage}

I also tried the \selectlanguage{ukrainian} (changed the uk to ukrainian in the .cls document as well) with no success.

I have dived into this issue and the problem might be in how the template.tex is configured for the extra languages.

Also, the error in the Overleaf is the following:

Since we are not allowed to touch the template.tex, I would kindly ask you to add Ukrainian as one of the extra language for the novathesis.

Yes!
The good news are I was able to make it work.
Now I have to go to a "clean" version of the template and add the necessary changes.

The Ukrainian language is supported in version 7.4.1.

It is highly recommended to use luaLaTeX for compiling.

If you use pdfLaTeX, in some cases, just the “normal” font is available, no italic and no bold.
If you use luaLaTeX, all font types are available.

Thank you very much for the new version. However, I still have the same issues with the new template as with the previous one.

I will summarize the main issues that might be related:

1. When in \ntsetup{docstatus=final}, the page numbering of the first pages is not consistent, e.g., i then blank, then iii, then blank etc.

2. It seems that this part is overwritten (in the previous version it was working well):

3. The Ukrainian is still not showing in the abstract nor in the in-text nor in the Bibliography (for full references)

4. The header for the Introduction chapter is Acronyms (this only happens for this chapter and I am not sure why):

The issue with Ukrainian is solved now, it works perfectly.
