Logos for Novathesis 7.4.1 (NOVA FCSH)

Hello professor,

I am working with the newest version of Novathesis 7.4.1 for NOVA FCSH in Overleaf.

1. Since I have a PhD Grant, I want to add the logo of the funder (FCT) together with other partner logos and a phrase "This PhD was funded by..." (or similar; I am writing my thesis in English), as well as Sustainable Development Goals (SGD) logos (not all, only the once that refer to my thesis) on the third page after the copyright. It would be great if you could advise me on how to add this to the template.

2. When I change the docstatus=final (for phd), the citation on page i is overwritten:

3. My first thesis chapter has no numbers (Introduction). However, in the header, it appears as List of Tables instead of Introduction:

I hypothesize that it is because this is the only chapter that is not numbered, but I am unsure how to solve this as well.

This is not something urgent, but I will appreciate any help.

Problem 2 was solved in the template itself. It is already working in your document.
Problem 3 was also solved by adding \maekboth{Introduction}{} at the beginning of chapter 1. Also already in your document.

Concerning Problem 1:
— where do you want to put the partner logos and thanks to FCT? In a new page? To be located between which pages?
— where do you want to put the Sustainable Development Goals (SGD)? In a new page? To be located between which pages? Or in the same page as the partners/thanks?

Ideally, it should be placed before the Dedicatory and after the Copyright (on page ii).

The faculty requires it that way (it is available only in Portuguese, unfortunately):

The FCT and other partner logos (e.g., Portuguese Republic), together with the adapted English translation of the phrase, should be at the bottom of the page.

The Academic Division has told me that we can add Sustainable Development Goals to the same page. I was planning to add only the ones that directly relate to my thesis.

For example:

We have flexibility in where to put the logos on the page. Preferably, at the bottom.

Some of the FCT and partner logos are changing from year to year, so it would be great to make them also editable (by ourselves in the template).

Can you give me a pointer to another thesis that has these pages that you want?

Unfortunately, I was not able to find anything for NOVA FCSH.

For NOVA IMS, for MA theses, they have this layout:

I think the phrase above the goal could be replaced with a logo to make it more visually appealing.

As this is optional and there are no specific guidelines, you can format the document as you prefer.

For the FCT logos, I was thinking that these can be placed right below the phrase in a horizontal line:

And after that, the Development Goals.

Update: so, Professor has created a new thesis version (7.6.3) with the logos for NOVA FCSH. I was able to pass the files from the old project to the new, but for some reason, the Goals are not visible when I switch the document to \ntsetup{docstatus=final}. Plus, additional issues with index numbering emerged. For some reason, it now shows the Roman numbering for everything and ignores the chapter numbering. I am attaching the two images side by side.
