Can't remove Quicktext toolbar in Compose

In the Compose new message window I get the Quicktext toolbar below the Subject line. I want to remove it but I can't see how. This is a Debian Trixie setup with the flatpak TB 140.3.0esr and Quicktext 6.4.

In my other setups (Windows 10 and KDE Neon with non-flatpaks) I have the toolbar removed but it's been so long I can't remember how I did it, or if it's the flatpak version stopping me.

That option has indeed been removed. In the future, the toolbar will probably be moved into its own add-on and we no longer need a "switch" to enable or disable it.

I thought I was going mad. I have looked everywhere. I am not quite sure why the option has been removed. There must be a good reason. At the moment, I get an ugly, redundant toolbar that wastes valuable screen space for no reason in my case. On a small screen it will be even worse. I hope this becomes optional somehow in the re-design.
