App Name: ClarityDocs

Core Features:

  • Document Upload: Upload agreements (rental, loan, terms of service) in PDF or text format.
  • Text Extraction: Extract text from uploaded documents using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) if necessary.
  • AI Summary Generation: Generate summaries in plain language using generative AI. Use a tool for reasoning on if clauses, and when to elide certain clauses or sub-clauses, etc.
  • Summary Display: Display the simplified summary in a clean, readable format.
  • Translation: Provide translation of the summary via Google Translate.
  • Terms Lookup: Allow users to look up definitions of specific terms used in the original document, using generative AI as a tool, where appropriate.

Style Guidelines:

  • Primary color: Deep blue (#1A237E), conveying trust and reliability.
  • Background color: Light blue (#E8EAF6), creating a calm, readable background.
  • Accent color: Sky blue (#0277BD) to highlight key elements and actions.
  • Body and headline font: 'Inter', a grotesque-style sans-serif, offering a modern and neutral feel for readability.
  • Use minimalist icons to represent document actions and AI functions.
  • Maintain a clean, spacious layout with clear visual hierarchy for easy content scanning.
  • Incorporate subtle transitions and loading animations to improve user experience.
