Support for more than two PV strings

I'm using Grott in three different locations, all working great for the totals. But on two locations there are more than two strings, and I get data only from PV1 and PV2. Is it possible to get data from all strings? Inverter in question is MID 15KTL3-XL.

Have you specified invtype= tl3?

If you have, you can specify includeall=True and then pv3 will also be included. If you need more we have to create a separate layout file.

Yeah, its specified as tl3. I’ll try with includeall, but i need support for four strings.

OK, as suggested setting includeall=true caused PV3 to be included, but not PV4.

I added a new TL3 layout file in the examples/record layout directory.

Copy the t06NNNNXTL3_4mpp.json file in the Grott main directory and specify invtype = tl3 in grott.ini to use this layout file.

I have only added this to the beta branches if you thinks it works well I will also add it to the master.

So, I installed the portainer add-on, copied the file to /app in the container and restarted it. I can see in the logs that grott picks up the layout, and the sensors are created in HA with live values. But, the sensors show up as plain numeric sensors, no units or anything. I can work around that creating helpers of course, but any idea why it doesn't work?

Noticed another thing, looks like epv4total and epv4today is swapped. And that epv3total is missing. From the logs:

Think I spotted the error. epv4today is actually epv3total. Inserting that and adding a new entry for epv4total should fix it.

Updated the layout file as suggested, now the values are correct:
- epv1today : 1.3
- epv1total : 3959.0
- epv2today : 1.5
- epv2total : 3829.6
- epv3today : 2.5
- epv3total : 6682.3
- epv4today : 1.1
- epv4total : 3846.3

Ok I made a mistake here (messed up a little bit with the ep3/4 definitions). Thanks for noticing. I will change that.

Interesting I see information for 4 trackers (and have only 2).

Are you using the integration or the home assistant plugin?
