I've been running my own fork of this project for over a year and been busy with other projects to look at this. Today I had a look at this project again and saw there doesn't seem to have been any updates to it for a long time although I get regular email updates from people raising issues. Is this version still being maintained or are people using a different fork/version?

I'd certainly love to see more development by someone (whoever does it) because I think this software is really useful, even if it is currently lacking in a number of areas.

Fortunately V3 is working great, python 3.14 - 4 inverters and I cannot complain. I'm happy to support the project in any way i can

Ah, thanks! I've been running my own version of grottserver for some time so I'll have a look at what's different in V3. Moreover, I use the https://github.com/egguy/addon-grott-beta/tree/main add-on app along with the https://github.com/muppet3000/homeassistant-grott integration. Is V3 compatible with these, or preferably does it supersede these?

i dont, just use the homeassistant-grott in a bare-metal HA installation, i can't even test as my HA does not install add-ons at all. But i think it should work

Aha. Must admit I'm interested to know how it behaves in a more standard HA environment. I run HA with HAOS and quite a few add-ons.
