Read Only Mode in HA

I was wondering if it is possible to set read only mode in HA like it was possible with ebusd.
Why?

all numbers now look like this in HA. As I really only want a sensor here, I have to create a mqtt entity myself but then I loose all the benefits of autoconfiguration.
