[question] How to control the heater / boiler from Home Assistant

I finally installed the Adapter Shield C6 with a USR-ES1, all configured to get auto discovery on home assistant. I get the information I want on HA, but I don't see any switches to start the heater for example (mainly why I have setup everything in fact).

My question is: do I need to create custom actions / script to send MQTT payload to the shield in order to turn the heater on? Or did I misconfigured something into only having sensors?

I couldn't find issues here nor documentation on how to to that. For now, I'm using the free token, but I would like to be sure I can do what I want before buying the token.

You need to see what your boiler can do via its sensors/settings.

In my boiler i can get a lot of sensors, but the only only i can set freely is roomtempcorr, that is a correction value to the measured ambient temperature.

I wrote some node red workflows to set this value dynamically (via mqtt) based on my home installation (temp sensors, vtherms, etc...)

if you're using ebusd (and not micro-ebusd), then you probably need to adjust the mqtt ha integration settings in order to get more writable messages, see here

I'm using micro-ebusd (still 3days on the tryout key).

Just noticed that it's says "inactive" when it was ok when I first wrote my message. And I have way messages available now
