Environment:
macOS: 14.1.1 (23B81) / Intel
Hardware: MacBook Pro 16" with TouchBar
Script Kit: 3.45.1
Issue: Does NOT occur in Script Kit 2.x.x versions
Problem Description:
Script Kit 3.45.1 crashes consistently when the prompt window loses focus (either by pressing ESC or clicking outside the window). The application terminates completely and disappears from the macOS menu bar, requiring manual restart.
Reproduction Steps:
Launch Script Kit 3.45.1
Open the main prompt (cmd+;)
Either press ESC key OR click outside the prompt window
Application crashes and disappears from menu bar
Downgrading to Script Kit 2.x.x resolves the issue completely.
Request:
For now, using a previous 2.x.x version would be sufficient for my workflow. However, I need a way to prevent Script Kit from automatically updating to the problematic 3.x.x versions.
Could you please provide:
A configuration option to disable automatic updates
Documentation on how to pin to a specific version
Or a way to opt out of major version updates while still receiving patches
Thnx,
Pedro
