UI stopped opening

Hi,

For some reason (maybe due to an OS upgrade), the UI stopped opening. When I click the icon in the menu bar, nothing happens, and indeed there's an error in the log file.
I was able to fix it by deleting the .kit folder yesterday, but now it's happening again.

I'm using an Intel macbook, with Monterey 12.4

@ohana54 few questions:

1. When you right-click on the menu icon, what version shows?
2. Did you quit Kit.app before removing the ~/.kit dir?
3. Are you on a keyboard layout other than U.S.?

1. 1.17.3
2. I did, also reinstalled the latest version.
3. Might be, in keyboard settings under "input sources" it says "ABC Extended", I'm in Ireland so my keyboard might have a UK layout. I didn't change my setup and this previously worked fine, it might've been an OS update that screwed things up.

Problem was missing node_modules, running PATH="~/.kit/node/bin:$PATH" npm i inside ~/.kit fixed it.
