current recommended workaround for a much better experience:
I think we can get rid of the
npmhelper completely by leveraging how we scan the//Menu: Foometadata to also scan forimport("foo")and prompt to install. I still need to experiment with the experience of it..kitThe plan is to add a
.kit/srccontaining TypeScript files that export to the current structure. This will be a huge win for everyone, especially people who want to contribute/refactor since we can just operate in thesrcdir and treat the.kitroot as a "dist". This might be challenging to configure since the preload scripts need to be commonjs whereas the cli/etc scipts are modules, but I'm confident it can be done.Beta Was this translation helpful?
