Out-of-sync interaction statistics

Hi, 

weird user experience:

watching the loop, seeing the comment section, sharing the loop, all give me different interaction statistics.

I assume this is related to federation, but should the link preview not retrieve the latest statistics (or if this could DDOS, either embed the statistics from when the loop was shared OR omit this information entirely).
