Consume from a given timestamp/date

Is there an option to start consuming starting from a given date?
Eg, I want to see everything that came in today.
This might be useful when testing multiple cases at once during the day and verify the results later that day. Perhaps some shortcuts like today or yesterday would be nice as well.
