Example won't work: children error

Hello there, I wanted to test this since I'm having trouble finding a good alternative to virtualize grids in Svlete (coming from React).

But is the example broken?

Maybe I'm missing something?

Sorry for the late response. I was following the docs example using the 3.X version.

Unfortunately, since it didn't work, I decided not to use it and implement another solution.

Looks like children got deprecated and items is now the snippet. It still throws a TS error though, even if it works.

Judging by the Git Blame, changing from @import to @type has caused this issue.

Upgrading to @next / 4.0.0-rc.1 has many of the same issues.

4.0.0-rc.1 still uses the default children as the snippet. In your example, replace item with children and it should work.

The types for style and index are still missing, and in case of 4.0.0, it complains about the lack of header and footer snippets which should be optional. The types are still being wrongly packaged.

The issues you're experiencing are likely already resolved in the latest code on GitHub. However, the most recent changes haven't been published to npm yet.

In the meantime, I have updated the forked package @tutorlatin/svelte-tiny-virtual-list. The latest version is v3.0.5, which contains the same code as v4.0.0-rc.2.

Version 4.0.0-rc.2 was now released which fixes many typing issues and actually deprecates the children snippet. (It will keep working though, for now)
