paperless-ng is taking away my write permissions to the consume folder

not sure if this is a paperless-ng, or a docker issue.

I have paperless-ng running in a docker container on truenas scale. the consume folder is on a smb share that is owned by a group I'm in. every time paperless-ng starts, it takes full ownership of the directory, so I no longer can write to it. how can I stop this?

chown fixed it. not sure why it wasn't working before, but it seems to work fine now
