PDF looks corrupt after processing

I recently started using paperless-ng and I'm loving it so far.

But I'm have an issue with PDFs from a specific source. The document looks okay but once the document is processed through paperless it looks like the image below.

I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting this. Are there any tools that might tell you if a source PDF has a problem or some sort of repair tool?
